after seeing this recipe, i immediately made it this morning (11.dec), but i failed miserably. HELP!

Combine sugar, cocoa, buttermilk** and food coloring in a non stick pan
until i realized i have made one big mistake! i added in butter. yes, that was obviously my fault.  also, i have substituted buttermilk
from the suggestion given by Shaina (1 tbsp vinegar for 1 cup milk)


at the boiling point and i tried to reach 115°c.
i hope this is equivalent to 238°F??






when it has cool down to 110°F (43°c?), i used electric mixer





after 2 minutes, it turned into almost powdered ٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶
smell good but the bottom got hard and i can't eat them.






sadly, all had to drain down the sink.. bu.hu.hu.
i quickly soaked it in the water



after soaking for few minutes, they were still there but after after an hour, it came out cleaned. now i would like to know where else did i go so wrong? i want to bake this fudge again. not giving up yet. Thank You!
